Lindy's Stamp Gang Haul

Hello Everyone,

I finally did it.  I have hummed and ha'd over whether I should consider purchasing the Lindy's Stamp Gang products as I already have over 75 bottles of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists but with all that I was hearing I knew it had to be done.  I have yet to try them out yet as they only arrive about two weeks ago and have been busy with many other deadlines.  But I wanted to share with you the products that I did get.  I purchased quite a few of their "try me" kits and then also purchased one of their newest lines of Starburst sprays.  I also purchased 2 stamp sets from them.  One for me and one for a friend as an IAY(I appreciate you) gift.  If you haven't tried these products please check them out.  You won't regret it!!!!  Their website is:  Lindy's Stamp Gang.  Without further adieu, here are the photos.

Thanks again for stopping by.  Comments always welcome and encouraged!

Artsy Addicts Tea Party Tag Swap

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for stopping by and checking out all the projects that were made by the people in Group #7 for the Tea Party Tag Swap hosted by Artsy Addicts.  I must say that I love each and every single one of these tags!  I may eventually compile them into a journal for friends that inspire me.  We'll see, it may be a while but I'll work on it and in the future I will post what I have done with them.  I may just hoard them...lol!  Lord knows I definitely know how to hoard everything to do with paper crafting...hahaha.  Now on with the tags.

This one was made by myself and the video is also posted on my YouTube channel which I will post below.

This one is from Angee Lee Butler and her website is:  www.angeeleebutler.com

This one is from Betty and her YouTube channel is:  booper216

This one is from Kerry Duff.  Her YouTube channel is:  duffer9904 and her website is www.stampersbest.com

And last but absolutely not least this one is from Tonya Gibbs.  Her YouTube channel is: Psychomoms and her blog is:  www.psychomoms.com

Thank you everyone for stopping by.  A big thank you and shout out goes to Karlas001 for being the gracious hostess in sending these out to everyone.  It was definitely a big job!  Also thanks goes to Marion Smith for being the creator of the wonderful Artsy Addicts Group on facebook.  Without her these swaps and support from everyone wouldn't be possible.   Please feel free to leave a comment.  They are always welcome and encouraged.

Inspiration Photo Pocket Mini Album

Hello Everyone,

Sorry it's been a while since I last posted on here. It's been one crazy month.  I just wanted to share a project that I am doing for a class at my LSS.  Thank you Kinderstampo for the great template idea.  This project uses the new line by BasicGrey - Out of Print.  I love all the different patterns come together and compliment each other.  I must say that this is my most favorite line that BasicGrey has come out with yet.  There are many different techniques on making your own flowers with ribbon, satin material, tissue tape, old sewing pattern paper, bottle caps and also hand made stick pins.  I hope you enjoy this as much as I did creating it.  If you are interested in attending this class, please visit http://treasuredmemories.typepad.com/shop/ or contact them at (780) 414-1540.  The class is scheduled for August 13, 2011 from 11:00am - 5:30pm.  If you are unable to attend but would like a kit, that could definitely be arranged.  There are only 10 spots available.  This class comes with everything you need except for ink pads and the Helmar 450 Quick Dry glue.  Enjoy and thanks for watching!

This is a flower made from satin material and elastic jewellery thread, topped off with a flower from  Karlas001 Etsy Store.

This is the first page of the album with 2 tags inserted in the pocket.

This is the embellishment used for page one from the Recollections line.

This is page 2 and 3 of the album and there is a flower made with the Tim Holtz tissue tape with a bottle cap as the centre.

This is page 4 and 5 of the album.  Stamps are from the Out of Print line by BasicGrey.

This is page 6 and 7 with a flower on the left side using Bazzill Ribbon.

This is the flower with Bazzill ribbon, Glubbers, a button and a hand made trinket pin.

This is page 8 and 9 with a flower made from sewing dress pattern papers with a rhinestone brad.

This is the flower using the sewing pattern paper inked with Dried Marigold Distress Ink.

This is page 10 and the back cover of the album.

This is the flower on page 10 using Glubbers and some pink ruffle ribbon with a button centre.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I would love to hear your comments on this project.

Pay It Forward

I found this over at Lynn's blog, who in turn found it at Alison's blog.. HERE.. she is doing this pay it forward.. so I thought.. what a great idea.. :)
"Pay It Forward" is the idea of blessing someone with a random act of kindness without expecting anything in return. It’s passing on a kindness, hoping that your recipients will do the same, and forming a never-ending chain of goodwill. But it isn’t only kindness, it is also a means to connect and share instead of just keeping it to ourselves.
