It sure has been a long time since I last crafted. Life has just been a whirlwind and it sure felt good to be able to sit at my craft table and create a layout for a friend. I was just a child the last time I visited Banff. I had a great time seeing the beautiful views and making new memories! I used a lot of products from Prima, Bo Bunny, Iamroses, Golden, Sa Crafters and Tim Holtz! I love how the bricks came out and added depth and texture to the layout. Using the Prima lightbulbs has been one of my most favorite embellishments so far! I hope that you enjoy the pictures. Comments are always welcome and appreciated!!!!

Canvas for my brother's first child & Add A Little P.O.P Challenge
Hi Everyone,
This canvas is also for the Add A Little P.O.P challenge for Inspiration Emporium. I can't get enough of making these canvas'. This canvas was calling out to me when I first saw the picture that my brother took of his son with my grandmother. A little info: My grandmother is in a senior's long term care facility. This is her first great grandson to carry on our family name, so to say the least it is a very special moment. The picture that my brother captured was just priceless. The smile on her face is one that we seldom ever see, so when I saw the picture I knew that I had to do something special with it. This is one of two canvas' that I made using the same photo but in different sizes. This first one is for my brother and the second one is for my grandmother's room.
I used the Tim Holtz Musical Tissue Wrap for the background of the canvas. I used a Crafter's Workshop stencil and some molding paste to add some texture. After it dried, I sprayed tons of Lindy's Stamp Gang Sprays along with my favorite Tattered Angels Sweet Clover spray. I used an enormous amount of embellishments to adorn this beautiful picture. Here is a list of products that I used:
Paper Doily
Prima Flowers
I am Roses flowers and leaves
Michael's Metal Key
Prima Zipper
Bottle Cap
Tattered Angel Card
Tim Holtz Pattern Paper
American Craft Letters
Wild Orchid Craft Flowers
Metal Clock from Scrapbooking with ME
Tim Holtz Distress Inks
Golden Gesso and Molding Paste
Trims from Karlas001
I hope you enjoy this beautiful creation for an even more amazing picture! Thank baby brother for the inspiration!
Regards,
Katherine Lonuzzo

Corduroy Canvas for my daughter's 20th Birthday
It has definitely been a long time since I last blogged. Life has thrown me some curves and I haven't had time to do any crafting. Now I've worked on a few projects that I would love to share with you. This first project is something that I wanted to make for my daughter. We use to have this handsome little guy in our family but due to time issues we had to find him a new home. So in memory of him I decided to make this so that my daughter can reflect back on all that he brought into our lives.
I was inspired by the talented Limor Webber http://chicscrapbookdesigns.blogspot.ca/ during one of her ustream videos. Thank you so much for giving me some mojo to create this beautiful canvas for my daughter to treasure for years to come.
I used sewing pattern paper and stamps from Tim Holtz to create the background paper. I also used paper from a Recollection Line called Union Square. Flowers were a mix between Prima Marketing Flowers, IamRoses, Wild Orchid Crafts and a handmade crochet flower that I made. I used a stencil from Crafter's Workshop, Golden Molding Paste and Gesso and many sprays from Lindy's Stamp Gang. I used letters from American Crafts and the amazing Prima tools from Ingvild Bolme. I fussy cut out some of the papers to add dimension and also added some flower sprays to the sides of the canvas.
I had a great time making this and hope that you enjoy it as well. Comments are always welcome.
